Affordable Housing

In 2016, Advance Northumberland Homes diversified its portfolio and began to offer Affordable Housing, as well as the traditional PRS stock.

Affordable Housing is designed to meet the needs of those whose needs are not met by the market, by offering rent at 80% of the market rent and allocating properties on a priority basis. All Affordable allocations are made exclusively on a priority basis via Northumberland County Council’s Homefinder portal. 

Northumberland Homefinder is Northumberland’s sole housing allocations portal, offering Choice Based Lettings to all registered. 

As an approved provider of Affordable Housing, Advance Northumberland Homes continue to acquire further units for the Affordable Portfolio, with the ever-expanding portfolio currently housing over 150 affordable tenants.
